Sponsored by Trek Bicycle Australia, everybody has the opportunity to ride together in this Trek FREE Community Ride. Perfect to get the young and the young at heart out of the house and on the bike!

This is a non-competitive ride available to anyone and everyone from 6 years old and up and is on fully closed roads for the utmost safety.

We want to get everyone on their bike – so this 9km ride is totally  FREE, including your one-day ride insurance.

For over six months, state and local stakeholders embarked on a journey together to create a course that embraces our lifestyle, shows off our unique environment, and reflects our city's vision to be the world's most livable city. The course will include iconic landmarks such as South Bank, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, the Story Bridge and inner Brisbane CBD.

 *Please note all courses are subject to change until receipt of final approvals from Queensland Police.*

Are there minimum speed requirements or curfews?

Yes, you must be satisfied you will meet the minimum average speed criteria of 10km/hr to complete the Community Ride course distance within the road-closure period.  There will be multiple curfew points across the course to ensure that your ride is fully supported and the event complies with issued permits.
